The Townsville Open is TTTA’s flagship tournament, attracting players from across Queensland and interstate for three days of high-quality competition over the May long weekend.

Tournament Information

This prestigious event features:

  • Open Singles and Open Doubles (Men’s, Women’s, Mixed)
  • Rated Singles and Doubles (<700, <900, <1100, <1300, <1500, <1700)
  • Junior events (Under 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, and Junior Development)
  • Veterans Singles and Doubles (30+, 40+, 50+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+)
  • 21+ Mixed Singles
  • Para Men’s and Para Women’s Singles

The tournament uses Ratings Central to ensure competitive matches for all skill levels. See the Registration section below for the full event list, entry fees, and download link.

Note: A $5.00 TTQ Player Levy applies to all entries.

Saturday, May 2

  • Play begins: 9:00 AM
  • Approximate finish: 9:30 PM

Sunday, May 3

  • Play resumes: 9:00 AM
  • Approximate finish: 8:30 PM

Monday, May 4

  • Play resumes: 9:00 AM
  • Approximate finish: 1:00 PM (Finals and presentations)

The tournament is held at the Townsville Table Tennis Centre (entry via Brodie St) featuring:
