The Townsville Battle is TTTA’s action-packed one-day tournament featuring rapid-fire matches and exciting formats. Get your table tennis fix without the multi-day commitment!
Tournament Format
The Battle uses a fast-paced format with:
- Shorter match formats (best of 3 or 5 games)
- Multiple grade categories
- Round-robin groups followed by playoffs
- Singles and doubles events
- Quick turnaround between matches
Perfect for players who want competitive tournament action but can’t commit to a multi-day event.

Schedule
- Registration: 8:30 AM
- Tournament start: 9:00 AM
- Finals and presentations: Afternoon (typically 3-4 PM)
The one-day format means you’ll be home for dinner!
Registration
Register online via RevSport. Entry fees apply per event entered. Early bird discounts available for early registrations.

- Table tennis bat (must comply with ITTF regulations)
- Indoor sports shoes (non-marking soles required)
- Playing shirt (must differ from ball color)

TTTA Clubhouse at 60 Charters Towers Road, Hermit Park. Climate-controlled venue with canteen facilities and spectator seating.
